The login process on 9kbd is intentionally kept simple. Just enter your mobile number and password and you are in. That said, knowing a few common things can help you handle any login issues on your own.
The most common issue is an incorrect password. Passwords are case-sensitive — "Password" and "password" are treated as two different entries. On mobile keyboards, the first character is often auto-capitalized, so watch out for that. Tap the eye icon to show your password and confirm what you are typing.
Multiple incorrect password attempts may temporarily lock your account as a security measure. If this happens, wait a few minutes or contact support. To reset your password, our support team will send an OTP to your registered mobile number, verify your identity, and help you set a new password.
Logging in to 9kbd from a new device or browser may trigger an additional verification step. This is done to protect your account — if anyone attempts to access it from an unfamiliar device, this layer of security will block them.
For your security, we strongly advise against logging in to 9kbd over public Wi-Fi. Avoid accessing your account on shared networks at tea stalls, markets, or public transport. Always log in using your own mobile data or home Wi-Fi.
Make it a habit to log out at the end of each session, especially if others use the same device. Only use the "Remember me" option on your personal device — never enable it on a shared or unfamiliar device.
9kbd will never ask for your password over a phone call or message. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from 9kbd and asks for your password or OTP, it is a scam — do not share any information and report it to official 9kbd support immediately.
Changing your account password regularly keeps your security strong. Your new password should be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
